The breakfast at this place was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh fruits to choose from. The location was also very convenient, close to the nearest subway station and within walking distance to popular attractions. Additionally, the staff here were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home during our stay.
The only downside I can think of is that knowing our stay at this place was likely the best experience of our entire holiday made it bittersweet to leave. Such an amazing place, it's hard to top!

We had a fantastic stay at Guest House Ga-Jyun! The location was perfect, with the major temples just a short walk away. The apartment was spacious and incredibly clean, with all the necessary amenities. The staff were so helpful and spoke English, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of options including coffee, fruits, and sweet bread. The high-speed cooker in the kitchen was a bonus. We also appreciated the speedy Wi-Fi in our room. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a complicated wardrobe and no cleaning service during our stay, the overall experience was amazing. We highly recommend staying at Guest House Ga-Jyun for a comfortable and convenient stay in Kyoto.

The breakfast provided at the hotel was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was also convenient, as it was close to both a bus stop and a subway station, making it easy to explore the city. there was a convenience store right across the road, which was very convenient for any last-minute purchases we needed to make.
The beds at the hotel were quite uncomfortable. They were these futon beds that took some getting used to, but overall, they were not the most comfortable for a good night's sleep.

We had an incredible stay at the guest house! the beautiful traditional Japanese house with a stunning backyard tree and spacious dorm room made us feel right at home. the two common areas, especially the one with a free massage chair, added to the comfort and relaxation. the family who runs the guest house is incredibly friendly and caring, always going above and beyond to ensure everyone's comfort. the breakfast was outstanding, featuring rare and expensive fruits and delicious hearty food. the Friday night BBQ and other events throughout the week were a great way to connect with fellow travelers. this place exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend staying here for a memorable experience. Cons: All was perfect! 😊.

The guest house is conveniently located close to many tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city. It is near the bus stop and subway station, ensuring easy access to different parts of the city. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with beds equipped with curtains for added privacy. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options, including homemade miso soup, fruits, and pastries. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing helpful recommendations and even arranging for kimono rental.
There were a few instances where the number of guests in the dormitory exceeded what was expected, which may have led to some overcrowding.

Great location, close to popular attractions and transportation options. . the staff were friendly and helpful, providing recommendations and assistance throughout my stay. the breakfast buffet had a good variety and was included in the price. the rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the owner's onsen hot bath was a nice added bonus, offering a relaxing experience.
The lack of an elevator was inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage. . the layout of the bunk beds made it difficult to climb in and out, causing some discomfort.
